Are you passionate about championing inclusion for children with autism? Do you want to use your expertise to drive change in your community?

Dazzling Center for Autism is seeking committed, visionary, and purpose-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of autism advocacy in Kenya.

About Us

Dazzling Center for Autism is a registered, community-based nonprofit organization based in Kisii, Kenya. Since 2018, we have provided education, therapy, and advocacy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. We are on a mission to create an inclusive society where every child—regardless of ability—has a chance to thrive.

Board Structure & Open Positions

We are currently recruiting for the following voluntary leadership roles:
(1). Executive Leadership

• Board Chair
• Vice Chair
• Founder & CEO (Position Filled)

(2). Operations & Finance

• Director of Finance & Strategic Planning
• Director of Education, Assessment & Integration

*(3). Advocacy & Community. Engagement

• Director of Marketing & Advocacy
• Director of Family Support & Empowerment

(4). Administrative Oversight

• School Administrator

Core Responsibilities

Board members will:

• Attend quarterly board meetings (virtually or in person)
• Provide strategic leadership and fiduciary oversight
• ?Support program development and fundraising efforts
• Advocate for autism inclusion and awareness in their networks
• Serve on relevant committees or working groups

Who Should Apply?

We are seeking individuals with background, experience, or strong interest in:

• Special education, early childhood development, or psychology
• Finance, organizational planning, or nonprofit governance
• Disability rights advocacy, community organizing, or public relations
• Social work, therapy, or family empowerment
• Strategic leadership and nonprofit growth

Commitment & Terms
Duration: 2-year renewable term
Time commitment: 4–6 hours per month
Compensation: Volunteer (unpaid)
